Coiled Necklace

Coiled necklaces are made in the same manner as coiled baskets. The first 3 inches of the start of a basket is what constitutes the necklace. The start of a basket is the most difficult part of weaving.

Necklaces are made from traditional basket materials – sedge, bracken fern, redbud and deer grass. They are decorated with bull pine nuts and glass beads.

Necklaces are approximately 3 inches wide (from 2-3/4” to 3-1/4”).
